Charter Review Commission Seeks Input from Residents

On September 22, 2021 the Burrillville Town Council appointed the 2021 Charter Review Commission.  In the upcoming months, the 2021 Charter Review Commission will review the charter and submit to the Town Council recommendations for amendments, additions or deletions.

As part of the review process, the Commission will be accepting input from residents of the Town of Burrillville.  The charter is available for your review online at the town website here, at the town libraries and at the town building.

Each person wishing to submit recommendations or address the Charter Review Commission must complete a submission form for each specific charter item to be reviewed. Forms and instructions can be downloaded from our website at the following links:  Click this link for the instructions. Click this link for the submission form.  They will also be published in the Bargain Buyer, and are available in the Town Clerk's office.

Completed forms should be submitted to the Town Clerk's office by November 30, 2021. They can be mailed, dropped off, put in our drop box outside the back door of the town building, or emailed to townclerk@burrillville.org
